Shipping

  • When does my order ship?
  • We all work regular jobs and run The Tea Coven in our spare time, so please be aware that it will take time to prepare our handmade products and ship your order. We strive to be as transparent about our shipping times as we can. Our current processing time is 10 days.

  • How much does shipping cost?
  • The shipping rate is calculated on checkout and depends on your delivery address, available shipping method, and the weight of the parcel.

  • Where does The Tea Coven ship?
  • Currently we’re only shipping to the European Union. We hope to expand our reach in the future.

  • Does The Tea Coven have a physical store?
  • The Tea Coven is a webshop, but keep an eye on our socials as we hope to visit events!

    Returns

  • There is something wrong with my order. 
  • Please reach out to us on hellotheteacoven@gmail.com - we are happy to assist!

  • Can I return my order? 
  • You have 14 days to reconsider your purchase. Please reach out to us at hellotheteacoven@gmail.com. You are responsible for the return shipping costs. Please send the parcel back in its original state and note that opened bags of tea will not be accepted. Personalized teas will not be accepted. If returned products are damaged we retain the right to charge for the damage. If there is something wrong with your order please reach out to us; we are happy to assist.

    Tea

  • How much tea goes in a bag?
    Our regular bags are 40 grams, which is enough for approximately 20 cups of tea. Our minis are 15 grams, which is approximately 7 cups of tea.

  • Which ingredients are used in your blends?
  • We specify all blend ingredients on our website. If you have any more questions about a certain blend, please reach out to us at hellotheteacoven@gmail.com

  • Do you have organic teas?
    You can find our organic blends here: https://theteacoven.nl/collections/organic.

  • Do your teas contain allergens?
  • Tea blends can contain wheat, nuts, peanuts, soy, milk, sulphite and/or sesame. Please check the ingredient lists of our blends before purchase. If you experience an allergic reaction after drinking our tea, please reach out to us so we can check in with our suppliers!

  • Do your teas contain nuts?
  • Some of our teas contain nuts. If you have any allergies, please check the ingredients of our blends before purchase.

  • Are your teas vegan?
  • Not all of our teas are vegan as some of our blends contain milk products (such as chocolate) and honey. You can use the "vegan" filter in our store to see which blends are vegan friendly!

  • Can I drink your teas when I'm pregnant?
    Many of our teas are safe to drink when pregnant, but please check the ingredients of our blends before purchase. Some herbs are better avoided during pregnancy.

  • What’s the shelf life for your teas?
  • We ship our teas in sealed, resealable bags. Store our teas air-tight in a dry & dark place. All our teas consist of a mix of dried ingredients, which makes their shelf life long. Our tea can lose some of its flavour when stored for more than a year.

  • How do you decide on your assortment?
  • We taste-test all our blends with the utmost care and use our special tea magic to decide on the names or themes to use. There is both logic and feeling behind all our blends.

  • Is it possible to place a wholesale/personalized order?
  • Possibly! Please send us a message at hellotheteacoven@gmail.com and we'll see what we can do for you!

  • How sustainable is The Tea Coven?
  • We try to stay conscious of the environment - that's why our shipment to you may be sent in a pre-loved box. The bags for our teas contain plastic; it is our goal to use part of our profits to add different tea packagings such as tea tins and bioplastics in the near future. We would also like to offer event refill services in the future.

  • Do you support good causes?
  • Not yet, but as we grow it’s our aim to donate part of our earnings to good causes that promote equality, anti-racism, anti-discrimination, animal welfare and environmental sustainability.
